Indeed, they are Caryatids

The first caryatids were from "Erecteon" from Mnesicles
they are sculpted with the technique of wet cloths to highlight their figure and beauty
They are called caryatids because they were the wives of Carys. The carys helped persians to attack Greece. In the end, greeks won and as a punishment, they took their wives.
Although the arms are not conserved, we know that in the hands they had cult objects. In the Erecton, they are placed in the direction of the Parthenon, so they can look at the Panathenaic procession symbolically.
we have to highlight too the use of the hair on the neck to get a perfect balance (since necks are slim)

This technique was used later in the Renaissance and Neoclassicism, so I guess these statues are from one of these movements

If I recall correctly statues that act as columns are called Caryatids. Good photo and well done on the DD.
